STIHL Great Britain has announced what they describe as "a significant update" to its Dealer Discount Structure which will recognise the effort STIHL Approved Dealers put into the personal handover of its machines.
The manufacturer says that from March 2021, when dealers unbox, PDI and offer personal instruction to customers, they will retrospectively be awarded a 5% handover fee upon registration of products using the company's B2B system. The handover fee applies to sales of all petrol, cordless battery-powered and electric machines.
“We recognise the amount of effort that our dealers put into unboxing, setting-up and handing over STIHL products so they’re ready to use” said Wayne Stone, National Sales Manager.
“We therefore feel it’s appropriate that in such cases, dealers are rewarded for the valuable time they spend supporting customers.”
