More than 250 staff, suppliers and representatives from across the UK, the Republic of Ireland and Scandinavian distribution network recently joined Kubota at their two-day conference, hosted at the Hilton Metropole in London.
The event entitled ‘Become the Best’ delivered updates from across the manufacturer's four business units - agriculture, groundcare, construction and engines - and laid out plans for 2024 and beyond. The overarching message was that of significant ongoing innovation and investment.
Presentations were delivered to address several key corporate objectives, including research and development and the advancement in the parts and aftersales division, with the goal of building a stronger business for Kubota and its associated partners going forward.

Together with important commercial updates, attendees were also treated to a gala dinner and auction, hosted by comedian Aaron James, which raised more than £22,000 for two industry charities - Yellow Wellies (Farm Safety Foundation) and Lighthouse Club - The Construction Industry Charity.
Managing director, David Hart, commented, “This was the first time that we brought together in one conference the dealer and distributor partners from the UK, ROI, Nordic and Baltics who represent all of our business areas of agriculture, groundcare and construction equipment plus engines. This gave us the ability to highlight opportunities, strategies and initiatives from Kubota that will prepare our businesses for the long-term changing environments we all work in”.
