Service Dealer was out and about at LAMMA this week, the UK's premier agricultural machinery exhibition, conducting interviews with exhibitors across the showfloor.
Courtesy of Service Dealer's YouTube channel you can watch the first of those interviews with key manufacturer representatives today, some of whom are looking to establish new dealer networks. They tell us about their new launches, what challenges they see for 2020 and what opportunities they believe the new year will bring for dealers.
First up we have Ray McNally, co-chairman at A S Tractors, who used the show to announce that they are building a new UK dealer network for the Alpler rage of machinery.
Ray told Service Dealer's Kate Godber that Alpler, who specialise in chain fed pellet and grain spreaders for agricultural use, had already signed up their first dealers and so far their range of machinery had received a "phenomenal response". Watch the interview below.
Next we have TYM Sales Manager, Steve Haynes, who talks about the launch of Farmtrac tractors in the UK, looking for dealers and their new electric tractor.
Elsewhere, the team caught up with David Hart, md of Kubota UK, who told them about the latest addition to their tractor lineup, as well as what he envisaged the key challenges that dealers will be facing in 2020.
Finally for today, Kate also spoke to JCB Agriculture global marketing manager, Matthew Barkas, about the company's new range of electric machinery, as well as getting a glimpse of the Guinness World Record breaking Fastrac Two high-speed tractor.
