Following dealership scaling back
SERIES OF CHANGES TO DEALER NETWORK

Case IH has announced a series of changes to its dealer network in Staffordshire which they say will strengthen customer support and ensure long-term continuity of service across a key region.

Effective from 1 July 2026, G. & S.J. Johnson Ltd has taken the decision to scale back its business operations and will relinquish the Case IH franchise. Following this change, the territory previously served by Johnsons will be integrated into the surrounding Case IH dealer network, with three established dealers expanding their coverage areas.

The updated territory allocations are as follows:

  • Pontesbury Tractors Ltd - will expand to cover the west of Stafford, including Market Drayton.
  • Startin Tractors Ltd - will extend its area to include the east of Stafford, Stoke on Trent and north into Derbyshire.
  • Lloyd Ltd - will assume responsibility for the north west section of the territory, operating from its Holmes Chapel depot.

The manufacturer says this expansion builds on the strong foundations already established by Pontesbury Tractors Ltd, Startin Tractors Ltd and Lloyd Ltd within their existing territories. The coverage ensures that Case IH customers will continue to receive reliable access to sales, service, and technical support across the region.

David Rapkins, commercial business unit director UK & Ireland, said, “We would like to thank Gary, Susan, Les and all the team at Johnsons for their dedication and support for the Case IH brand over many years, and we wish them well in their future endeavours. This change represents an important expansion for the three surrounding dealers, who are committed to delivering outstanding support to our Case IH customers."
