SENIOR HONDA (UK) ROLE AXED

Honda (UK) have announced changes to their management structure.

Service Dealer had been informed that from April 1st, Honda's business functions would adopt a "regional structure". As a result of this, the role of Branch President of Honda (UK), held by Jean-Marc Streng, would cease.

Service Dealer understands dealers were told that there were no further changes to the management of Honda (UK) and that there would be no "immediate impact or action for you."

The magazine reached out to Honda (UK) for clarification and received the following statement from Steve Morris, head of Power Equipment:

"We are evolving our business model to operate as a truly pan-European organisation - connecting our individual branches. We are establishing functional business structure and leadership across Europe, creating One Automobile team, One Motorcycle team, One Power Products team, and so on across the region.

"The Branch President role will no longer exist, but this leadership group will transition into new roles in our new structure. This will come into effect from 1 April, 2023."
