The Land-Based Engineering Training and Education Committee (LE-TEC) has launched its Technicians of the Year competition for 2021.
There are two categories this year, one for someone just embarking on their career and one for someone who has made a successful career and seen their vocation develop. The organisers say there a host of prizes up for grabs.
LE-TEC say they want to hear from people whether they are an apprentice technician just starting out, or a master technician with years of experience under their belt.
To join in, entrants must record a short video telling LE-TEC:
The organisers stress it doesn't matter if it’s a selfie-style video, or a professional production, it is the entrant's story they are interested in.

Entries close 26th February 2021.
