Husqvarna have announced that their UK sales & marketing director, Ken Brewster, left the company on Monday this week (Feb 1st 2021).
In an official statement circulated to their dealers, the company said Ken, who had been in the role for six years, had left "to pursue other career opportunities."
The company's statement continued saying they would like to ".. thank Ken for his valuable contribution and we wish him all the best for the future."
Service Dealer understands, based on this announcement, that sales and marketing will for now be managed using two individuals with focussed sales and marketing responsibilities. As such, Fabrice Pinel, vice president West Southern Europe Region, will take up an acting sales director role for an interim period and has been collaborating with Ken to ensure a smooth transition.
Already in place at Newton Aycliffe is Samantha Donnelly who has joined the company as head of the marketing team with the new title UK marketing manager.
The company went on to say, "The UK sales team remains fully in place with no changes, and with their support Husqvarna will remain dedicated to our dealers.
"We are looking forward to continuing and executing our initiatives this year, and are excited to work with you all towards a successful 2021."
Service Dealer wish Ken, who has been a supporter of the journal throughout his tenure, regularly joining us on our industry think tank conference calls throughout 2020, all the best for the future.
