ERNEST DOE AGREES TO ACQUIRE TWO BRANCHES

Ernest Doe announced on Monday this week (July 22nd 2024) that they have signed Heads of Terms to acquire two additional branches from the New Holland dealer, The Burdens Group, located in South Lincolnshire.

Whilst the Heads of Terms have been signed, Ernest Doe stressed the deal is not yet complete, and it will take a few weeks for the deal to be finalised.

The two additional branches are New Holland outlets located at Sutterton and North Kyme - with North Kyme also an existing Ransomes Jacobsen outlet.

These sites will be supported by the Ernest Doe Littleport branch which is just over an hour’s journey south of Sutterton.

Managing director, Angus Doe, said, “We believe this is a positive move forward for our business and will strengthen our position as a key dealer in both the agricultural and groundcare machinery sectors.”

He continued, “We look forward to welcoming additional people to the Ernest Doe family.”

The company have promised a further statement will be issued on completion.
