STRONG TRACTOR SALES CONTINUED IN JULY

According to figures released by the AEA July 2018 saw 1,347 new registrations of agricultural tractors (over 50hp) in the UK - a +23.5% change compared with July 2017.

This brought registrations for the year so far to 7,876 units, over 600 (9%) more than in the first seven months of last year.

Stephen Howarth, Agricultural Economist at the AEA said that these July 2018 figures are "highest percentage growth of the year to date." 

He went on to explain, "Furthermore, registrations over the 12 months ending in July were the highest for any 12-month period since October 2013 - September 2014."
