Training offered to dealers

STIHL is investing in its dealer learning and development programme with the introduction of a digital marketing training webinar series that they say aims to assist its retail network in maximising business opportunities.

The webinar series is split in to three 60-minute sessions and covers three key areas of marketing communications, including Google My Business, e-mail marketing, and social media marketing. Through the STIHL Training platform, dealers can either join the live and interactive web-based conference or access webinar recordings after the event for best practice advice. All attendees will receive a step-by-step guide to refer to after each webinar.

The three offered sessions are:

  • Google My Business
    In this webinar, dealers will learn how to set up a Google My Business account, create a professional listing with imagery, as well as how to generate and manage customer reviews.
  • E-mail marketing
    This webinar is a beginners guide to e-mail marketing. Dealers will be given advice on how to choose the right e-mail marketing platform, how to set up templates, content types and how often to talk to customers. In addition, recommendations will be given on how best to collect data in line with GDPR.
  • Social media marketing
    This webinar will take dealers through the basics of social media, including why it’s important and how it can benefit customers. It will cover how to choose the right channels, how to maximise each channel, as well as tips and ideas on what content to publish.
